About

WHERE MY ETHOS COME FROM...

My concept for Body Archaeology evolves from my passion for site specific deep tissue massage. I approach bodywork the way an archaeologist comes to an excavation site - only by sifting through many layers can we discover what is hidden underneath. As archaeologists learn about the past, we will learn about your muscles, stress responses, body mechanics and life patterns.

I have practiced massage professionally since 2001, continually evolving and honing my skills. I offer Deep Tissue Massage, Reflexology, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Reiki, John F. Barnes Myofascial Release, Chi Nei Tsang, an abdominal massage based on ancient Taoist principles and Integral Bodywork, a 10 session series of deep life changing structural bodywork. In 2020 I began studying Sound Therapy principles in earnest and have integrated those philosopies into my practice. Bringing in the power of these sound healing tools like singing bowls, tuning forks and the life changing energies of my 32" symphonic gong takes the theraputic nature of my work to new depths! I immensely enjoy expanding my knowledge of the human form and the practice of bodywork.

The work I do complements other forms of orthopedic medical treatment, and is also a fantastic way to relax and tend to the stresses of everyday life. With every massage I utilize multiple elements from several modalities, to give you a massage experience tailored to your specific needs and concerns.
